Try these tips to prevent pipes from freezing in the winter:

Good Morning Sailboat Bay!

Here are some tips to prevvent water lines from freezing during this cold spell:

– *Drip faucets*: Let at least one faucet drip, preferably one on an exterior wall or in an unheated area. Dripping water keeps pipes from freezing by reducing pressure buildup.
– *Open cupboards and vanities*: Open cabinet and vanity doors to allow warm air to reach pipes under sinks.

The Marina committee along with the Maintenance staff are going to *Drip the marina water at each end of the marina. *We ask that no one adjust, shut off, or tamper with the marina water supply for any reason unless directed to do so by a marina committee member or maintenance staff member.
Condominiums are sometimes home away from home, but they still need attention when the owners are away. Please make arrangements with neighbors to assist you if you cannot or, have not been here prior to such weather events that may need some prep work done.

Here in the south hurricane prep is a must but let’s not forget we can get some cold freezing temperatures even if for a short time so let’s all be prepared.

Thanks and stay warm!
